And when the summer gradually draws to a close, we enjoy the great atmosphere, dreamy late summer days and breathtaking sunsets at the NORDEN - The Nordic Arts Festival in Schleswig directly on the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei.

Already for the fifth time the NORDEN Festival takes place this year. On three consecutive weekends, artists from Scandinavia, the Baltic States and Poland, Iceland and the Netherlands as well as from Northern Germany will present an exciting cross-section of current music, literature and street theater. In the cinema, excellent films from various film festivals in Schleswig-Holstein can be seen. Numerous workshops and activities guarantee fun for all generations - a festival that convinces with its uniqueness.
The fantastic Baltic Sea landscape, the lively cultural scene, timeless design and not to forget the creative cuisine - the longing for this attitude towards life and the stories that go with it, are the driving force behind the NORDEN Festival. From August 24 to September 10, 2023, the organizers will bring the idea of the European NORDEN to the Königswiesen in Schleswig.
