StartupDorf is a network and startup club that promotes, inspires, educates, networks and gives a voice to tech founders. The aim is to support the founding, operation and growth of startups in Düsseldorf and the entire Düsseldorf region*. The association relies on a #foundersfirst strategy based on four pillars:

Matchmaking: connecting founders with relevant stakeholders according to their needs and stage of development.

Educating: imparting practical startup and leadership knowledge at eye level.

Advocating: Promoting the understanding of regulators, industry and SMEs for the needs of digital tech startups

PR & Storytelling: Supporting startups in getting noticed and telling their stories.

Since 2013, StartupDorf has been realized on a voluntary basis by female entrepreneurs, experts and supporters in various formats and events.

We believe that our entire region, with Düsseldorf as the state capital of NRW and the center of Düsseldorf's administrative district (Reg-Bez with 5.2 million inhabitants), is a hub for entrepreneurially driven innovation, creativity and high technology. Innovators and entrepreneurs are everywhere, they just need to come together to collaborate and share the clear vision that leads to a vibrant startup community.

Membership is open to startups as well as VCs, SMEs, German Mittelstand, corporates and multinationals. Membership for startups from the Düsseldorf administrative district is free of charge. The membership fee for multinational companies is e.g. 1,000 Eur.
