The local theater in Essen-Borbeck

At least twice a year we, the TheaterLaien, rehearse new plays for our audience from Essen-Borbeck and the surrounding area and bring them to the stage.

When selecting the plays, we try to find a successful mixture of comedy and tragedy, laughter and tears, funny and thought-provoking.

By the way: we believe that everyone should be able to afford to go to the theater. That's why we have kept our admission prices low for years, true to the motto: "Money should never play the main role in a theater." (Erhard Horst Bellermann)
