After-Work at Kunstareal: Welcome Internationals

The Munich Documentation Center invites you to join us for a tour of our exhibitions. After a word of welcome, Director Mirjam Zadoff will lead the group through the exhibition Munich and National Socialism, which presents the Nazi history of the City of Munich. As the place where the Nazi Party (NSDAP) was founded, Munich is more closely connected with the rise of National Socialism than any other city. The tour also includes a visit to the temporary art installation …  to leave a space in which the din of war might die down, in which twelve international artists address the long-lasting repercussions of war since 1945. After a brief break for refreshments and networking, the group is invited to attend a concert by the Freedom Singers entitled When Jazz (almost) lost its freedom.
