In diesem Workshop werden die Teilnehmer eingeladen, ihr einzigartiges Doing Drag zu entdecken! Auf spielerische und zugängliche Weise lernen wir verschiedene Möglichkeiten und Techniken des (Drag-)Performance-Machens kennen. Dieser Workshop richtet sich an Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung.

Raum: Das [ku:] befindet sich in der Bayenstraße 11. Es befindet sich im Erdgeschoss. Die Toiletten sind über eine 10 cm Stufe erreichbar. Eine rollstuhlgerechte Toilette wird vorhanden sein. Sprache: Deutsch oder Englisch je nach Gruppe. Eine Übersetzung durch Gebärdendolmetscher*innen ist möglich.

In this workshop participants will be invited to discover their unique doing drag! In a playful and accessible way we will get to know different options and techniques of (drag) performance making. This workshop is for people with and without disabilities.

Space: The [ku:] is at Bayenstraße 11. It is on the ground floor. The toilets are reachable with a 10cm step. A wheelchair accessible toilet will be available. Language: German or English depending on the group Translation by a sign interpretor is possible.

Otto Calmeijer Meijburg is a physical theatre performer and choreographer. Their work is driven by the desire to use art as a strategy for care, hope, and political imagination. Otto prefers to work inclusively (with people with and without disabilities) and in 2020 they co-founded Starlab, an artistic empowerment platform. Otto graduated from the Physical Theatre department at Folkwang University of Arts Essen in 2020, and has been working as a freelance artist in Germany and The Netherlands since then.
