If today were the day you had to stop dancing, how would you feel? Did4Luv is a tragicomic dance solo shared between Dominique McDougal and Carro Sharkey, with each performing on alternate nights. The performance spirals through a surreal dreamscape of labor, blending mascot work, drag, clowning, magic, and pole dance, each new gig dissolving into the next.Did4luv stages labor as spectacle and spectacle as labor, asking what forms of visibility and desire the systems of work and entertainment extract from marginalized bodies. It traces the toll of constant reinvention, revealing the psychic wear of always needing to entertain, sell, and survive.
