The Ghosts on Acid make their monthly appearance, opening the doors to an otherworldly and sublime cosmos of Minimal, House, and Techno at Blitz! Take a deep breath before stepping into a sphere of transcendent grooves courtesy of Francesco Del Garda, James Zabiela, and Magda — three defining artists of the scene, showcasing the past, present, and evolution of the sounds.  

Magda emerged as one of the leading figures of the 00s Minimal scene. Initially associated with Richie Hawtin and his influential Minus imprint, she has since forged her own unique path within the dance music scene. Early on she developed her own spin on the timeless minimal funk, but it’s her vibrant and bubbly approach to layering and blending tracks in the DJ booth that has set her apart from her peers. Nowadays, her sets are more eclectic, versatile and gripping than ever, blending her past influences with new groove-oriented sounds. Hailing from Southampton, James Zabiela is another figure renowned for pushing the boundaries of DJ craft and technology – thus a spectacular performer. While performative DJing has waned in popularity among House and Techno DJs, Zabiela proves its potential with stellar musical results, yet remains cognizant of the creative limitations of technology. Ultimately, it’s all about the vibe and music!   

Italian DJ Francesco Del Garda is a master of hypnotic grooves, performing with stylish understatement and captivating charm. He is one of contemporary underground dance music’s most respected DJs, and it’s easy to understand why: join us for an extended, 4-hour opening set to witness the magic!
