Nach unserem französischen Frühling leutet Rumba Gitana am kommenden Samstag den Global Summer ein.

Weiter geht es mit Besuch aus Kanada. Am Freitag den 03. Mai 2024 begrüßen wir Anna Katarina bei uns.

Los geht es wie immer um 19:30 Uhr und wer beim Konzert Speisen will kann dafür natürlich einen Tisch reservieren.

Anna Katarina, named one of Canada's 8 hottest emerging artists by Exclaim! magazine, is a singer-songwriter known for her authentic voice, dynamic live performance, and genre-blending compositions, raised in the beautiful mountains of British Columbia and Appalachian North Carolina. Her music draws inspiration from artists like Joni Mitchell, Maggie Rogers, and Sheryl Crow, yet she crafts a unique path within Indie-Pop, Americana, soul and 70s rock — always driven by the emotions behind her songs.

In early 2024, Anna was an Official Showcase Artist at Ireland's "Your Roots Are Showing" Folk Conference, performed at Mexico's Sand & Strings Festival, and is embarking on a 3-week tour through Germany, Belgium, and Denmark. Her sophomore record, While I Was Dreaming, will release mid-year.

In 2023 she showcased at Toronto's NXNE Festival and Arts Touring Alliance of Alberta’s Official Conference, and performed alongside well-known Canadian artists Shawn Hook and Said The Whale.
