Kaleo Sansaa creates her unique sound by combining Experimental hip-hop with some Afro pop elements. Her music feels both familiar and archaic, while at the same time emulating genres yet to be discovered by humans and other aliens. 

Influenced by her Grandmother's musical talents, the Berlin based artist became interested in creating her own compositions. Her well received debut album "Solarbased Kwing" was released in 2021 and gained the attention of multiple renowned german media outlets such as Musikexpress, Rosa Mag, WDR Cosmo, WDR 3, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and many more. In 2018 Kaleo Sansaa won the award for Best Music Video at the Berlin Short Film Festival and was nominated as best newcomer for the POP NRW Award in 2019.

Dockville Festival, Pop-Kultur Berlin or Ruhrtriennale are just a few of the stages Sansaa has graced in the past. She also toured with artists like Noga Erez and Nneka. 

In September 2023, Kaleo Sansaa finally releases her long awaited second album "CHII". The release will be followed by her first with headline tour through London, Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam and Paris in winter 2023.
