EN: “Queer Culture in Exile” is a сultural festival by Quarteera for queer artists from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia who have had to flee due to war, repression and persecution.
In their works they demonstrate the variety of queer refugees’ life paths and cultures in order to be heard, understood and accepted in their new countries.
17 new cultural projects such as theater, dance performance, music, photo exhibitions, animation, book and film presentation will be shown.
At the festival it will be possible to meet most of the authors in person.
The event will be held in Russian and English.
