Meet Our Guest

Onki Wong is an international educator with a career spanning the US, the UK, and North Korea. Currently a Chinese language teacher at an international school in Hong Kong, Onki brings a deeply academic yet highly practical lens to her stories.

She graduated with a BA in Chinese Language and Literature from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, obtained her MA in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from the University of Nottingham, and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Nottingham, where her research focuses on the dynamic intersection of teacher identity and emotion.
