Loosely based on the 1980s TV series of the same name, this ridiculously fun action comedy follows Colt Seavers (Gosling; »La La Land«, »Barbie«, »Drive«), a battered and past-his-time stuntman who finds himself working on a film set with movie star Tom Ryder (Taylor-Johnson; »Kick-Ass«, »The King’s Man«). When Tom goes missing and the film, which is being directed by Colt’s ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno (Blunt; »A Quiet Place«, »Oppenheimer«, »Jungle Cruise«), is in danger of being shut down, Colt volunteers to find Tom, save the film, and try to win back the love of his life, all the while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right? With action, comedy, romance, and a pair of marvelously matched stars, this hilarious, hard-hitting action film is a comedic gem with something to entertain everyone and a rewatchability factor that simply goes through the roof.
