WER SIND WIR?

FLIEGENDE FUNKEN ist das Festival der improvisierten Theaterkunst in der schönsten Stadt im Norden: Bremen. Seit 2010 hat sich der Fliegende Funken e.V. zur Aufgabe gemacht, diese besondere Form des Theaters in Bremen sichtbarer, größer und zugänglicher zu machen.

Das FLIEGENDE FUNKEN FESTIVAL ist fester Bestandteil der Bremer Kulturszene und beliebte Anlaufstelle für Improtheater-Fans, Spielende und Lehrende. Inspiriert vom Ungewissen, finden wir jedes Jahr ein neues Thema, welches neue künstlerische Antworten herausfordert. Dafür laden wir Gäste aus aller Welt ein, die unser Festival mit künstlerischen Bühnenprogrammen und Workshops bereichern.

WOFÜR STEHEN WIR?

Der Fliegende Funken e.V. setzt sich aus Mitgliedern unterschiedlicher Bremer Improvisationstheatergruppen zusammen. Damit wird eine kreative Kollaboration geschaffen, die von den Einflüssen verschiedenster Improstile und-techniken profitiert.

Vielfalt wird bei uns großgeschrieben. Improvisationstheater ist eine Kunstform, die einen gemeinschaftlichen Raum für vielfältige Positionen und Identitäten bietet. Wir schaffen Platz für Austausch und einen geschützten Raum, der neben der künstlerischen auch eine kulturelle Weiterentwicklung des Improvisationstheaters ermöglicht.

Der Verein lehnt Diskriminierung jeglicher Art ab. Verantwortung, Empathie, Support und Respekt sind deshalb unverzichtbare Grundpfeiler unseres Festivals. Wir wollen, dass unsere Besucher*innen Erfahrungen machen, an die sie gerne zurückdenken.

Neben dem Menschen liegt uns auch seine Umwelt am Herzen. Trotz aller Internationalität streben wir, als Fliegende Funken e.V., einen möglichst kleinen CO2-Fußabdruck an und entwickeln unsere Klima- und Umweltziele in jedem Jahr weiter.

WHO ARE WE?

FLIEGENDE FUNKEN is the Festival of improvised theatre in the most beautiful city in the north of Germany: Bremen. Since 2010 the Fliegende Funken association has made it its mission to make this very special form of theatre more visible, accessible & widely available.

The FLIEGENDE FUNKEN FESTIVAL is a regular feature in the Bremer culture scene & a favourite place to go for Impro-fans, players & teachers.
Inspired by the unknown, every year we find a new theme which presents us with new artistic challenges. For this reason we invite international guests who enrich our festival with creative shows & workshops.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

The Fliegende Funken Association is made up of members of various Bremer Impro theatre groups. Which allows for a creative collaboration that profits from many different Impro styles & techniques.
Diversity is very important for us. Impro theatre is an art form that offers a collaborative space for diverse identities & points of view. We provide a safe space for communication, that allows not only an artistic but also a cultural development in this theatre form.
The Association opposes all forms of discrimination, therefore Responsibility, Empathy, Support & Respect are the essential pillars of our Festival.
We want that our visitors have experiences that they are happy to look back on.
Apart from the people the environment is very important to us, despite our internationality we try to keep our CO2 footprint as small as possible & develop our climate & environmental goals further every year.
