In the artist's words:

Jonny Mahoro couldn't get into music fast enough. As irrepressible as he was as a child, he was already drawn to the stage at the age of six with a choir in his home town of Bonn. Although the guitar is now like an extension of his arm, Jonny also learned to play the trombone. However, he hasn't had it with him since his appearance on The Voice Germany 2017. Instead, the Berliner-by-choice performed with a former duo partner. With the project "Jonny & Jakob", he played as support for LEA, Alice Merton, Milow and Wincent Weiss, among others. They also played a joint headlining tour across Germany. The 24-year-old has been touring as a solo artist since 2022. His music is honest German pop that makes it clear that showing emotions is a real strength. "I think I loved myself empty," sings Jonny at the top of his lungs as he strums his guitar. For the singer-songwriter, however, his songs also come to life through the produced beats that drive him on and make his love of RnB and indie music tangible. He sets his thoughts to music or shares his poems on social media. Despite deep insights into his eventful life, Jonny Mahoro is one thing above all: an absolute philanthropist and a cheerful person: "All I want is for people to feel less alone through my music."
