In the artist's words:

The piano duo Bauerecker Stöber was founded by Dorrit Bauerecker and Christoph Stöber in August 2023. The aim and idea is to explore the wide-ranging repertoire of four-hand piano music from the Baroque to the 21st century and to create new connections. The two pianists want to break down genre boundaries and reach new concert audiences. They also want to deepen their strong ties to the new music scene and take classical audiences by the hand, strengthening their interest in early music and developing an interest in new music.
