In the artist's words:

RAHEL lives in a small town on the Danube called Vienna. She makes music for the strange, which she recently wowed on the very large main stage of the Donauinselfest. Her very first EP "Die Allerschönste Angst" was already noticed in Germany (e.g. Tagesspiegel, Musikexpress and Radio PULS), "Ein sehr schöner Witz" in spring 2023 was followed by concerts with Die Sterne, Danger Dan, Juli and Gentleman, appearances at festivals such as Deichbrand or the Dockville Festival, as well as a nomination for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award.

With their new releases, RAHEL continue their musical development towards 80s synths in the style of Neue Deutsche Welle and increasingly stray towards shrill guitars and quirky, dazzling lyrics. This mixture could be described as a reinterpretation of Dreampunk. Their first own tour is wild, grumpy and enraptured in the best sense of the word: when RAHEL invites you to dance, worries about the future and world-weariness go to sleep for a moment, and queer utopias glitter in the lowlands of everyday (relationship) life. This must be the great beauty she loves to sing about!
