Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys

"Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys is the most successful Italo pop group in Germany (and probably also in Italy)." The group was founded in 1982 by Roy Bianco (vocals) and Die Abbrunzati Boys (guitar, vocals) in Sirmione on Lake Garda. The early years of the pop duo are characterized by success in German-speaking countries. The group made an international appearance at the International Schlager Festival in Rio de Janeiro in 1984. During the same period, the two frontmen also meet the future members of their show band, Ralph Rubin (keys), Eisensepp (bass), Bungo Jonas (drums) and Blechkofler (trumpet), with whom RB&DAB usually perform live. After further successes, the group went quiet at the end of the 90s and disbanded in 1997. After a break of almost twenty years, the group announced their comeback in summer 2016. The long-awaited debut album "Greatest Hits" was released in March 2020. The accompanying tour through D/AT/CH was postponed to April/May 2022 due to the coronavirus crisis. In 2021/22, the band did not remain idle and built directly on existing successes. They released hits such as "Giro" and "Quanto Costa" or "Bella Napoli". Their second studio album "Mille Grazie" reached number one in the official German album charts in April 2022. Now "Kult", the final part of an overall artistic triptych, will be released on 31.05.24.
