Andrzej Szwan, who is over 80 years old, lives rather inconspicuously in a block of flats. But as "Lulla la Polaca" he is known as a colorful dog, because under this stage name he is the oldest drag queen in Poland. In his private life, he is the definition of the word "sophisticated" - tastefully dressed, even-tempered and equipped with good manners, subtle self-irony and an eloquent choice of words. He has no problems with modern technology and his body is still in good shape thanks to regular exercise.

Andrzej's life is full to bursting: When we accompany him to parties and shows, he is usually surrounded by young people. In general, he seems to be restless - he is constantly on the go, partying here, eating there, visiting friends, looking for contacts on dating apps or organizing theater performances at home. And yet there is a huge void in this restless life. This was left by his friend, for whom he sets out to find a suitable urn.

Bogna Kowalczyk does not want to make a political statement, but to tell a personal story. She is not interested in the stage lullaby, but in the person behind it. For her, the biography of a protagonist of the Polish LGBTQ+ movement is just the starting point of a universal narrative about loss, grief and the increasing loneliness of belonging to a world that is slowly disappearing and making way for something new.
