With his astute commentaries and laconic style of expression, Heinrich Heine was an important source of inspiration for European literature, whose impact reached far beyond his own time. The "International Forum for Young Heine Research" aims to build on this.

To mark the poet's birthday, the Heinrich Heine Institute of the state capital Düsseldorf, the Heinrich Heine Society and the Institute of German Studies at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf are inviting the public to this special colloquium for the 27th time. An interested public audience is also very welcome.
