29th Gay Film Festival

Gay Film Days, for the 29th time: From February 6 to 12, we will be showing the best gay films of the season - for gay, straight and everything in between!

A few thematic lines emerge: sex work is addressed in the Brazilian drama BABY as well as, in a completely different way, in the British SEBASTIAN. The latter is about a writer, and the artistic work of a writer also takes center stage in the Argentinian relationship drama WHAT'S HAPPENING TOGETHER. THE SUMMER WITH CARMEN is about filmmakers on a Greek beach, while the Spanish summer comedy LOVE & REVOLUTION is about a budding singer in 1970s Seville. Markus Stein's documentary BALDIGA portrays the photographer who captured the gay Berlin subculture of the 1980s, while André Schäfer's BEKENNTNISSE DES HOCHSTAPLERS THOMAS MANN connects the life of Thomas Mann with his novel character Felix Krull. Also in the program: VIET UND NAM - the first Vietnamese film at the Gay Film Days!
