35 years ago, the storming of the Stasi headquarters in Berlin-Lichtenberg marked an important step in the process of the Peaceful Revolution. Thousands of people flocked to the site to put an end to the activities of the secret police and stop the destruction of files. This continued a process that began in the districts of the GDR.
