A-cappella Weihnachtsprogramm: MAYBEBOP "Mehr Lametta"

"Mehr Lametta" is the name of the four men's new Christmas program. During the Christmas season, they rejoice throughout Germany.

Christmas is sung and sung about, it has to be! And when in doubt, it's better to let the professionals do it: MAYBEBOP provide entertaining vocal entertainment at Christmas time. Subtle humor, sophisticated vocal movements, smooth choreography, tasteful lighting, video and sound staging - "Mehr Lametta" is convincing on all levels. The four singers from Hanover, Berlin, Hamburg and Weimar combine pointedly written original compositions with traditional German and international Christmas songs and debunk common clichés by surprising each song anew in the usual refined MAYBEBOP guise. Despite all the tinsel, the classic MAYBEBOP virtues always shine through the Christmas bliss: highly virtuosic vocals and lyrics that combine a clear political stance and subtle humor at an unrivalled level. And when the quartet wants to touch us by addressing our Christmas longings hidden deep beneath the tinsel, they succeed in doing so seemingly effortlessly and with real appeal.
