A coat and a diary - More than just objects

In the organizer's words:

Since the beginning of its research activities, the NS-DOK has built up a large collection of personal items donated by Jewish former residents of Cologne and their descendants. These range from clothes to household items and written material such as letters and diaries. In this discussion, three donors will present selected objects with a special relevance to their family, tell the story behind them and discuss their emotional value as well as the significance they have for family and scientific research.
