Abeneko & The Positive Mind. DURCHLÜFTEN – 2024 Live Konzerte & DJ Acts im Schlüterhof

In the organizer's words:

The five-piece band led by singer, songwriter, guitarist and choreographer Isack Abeneko from Dar es Salaam already brought the Schlüterhof to life in 2023. Now they are back to present their latest songs on an extensive European tour. Abeneko describe their music as "bongo fusion", a mix of bongo flava and various influences ranging from Nigerian highlife to ultra-fast Singeli.

Their music aims to promote traditional and contemporary Tanzanian music, dance and culture and make it internationally visible. The creative head of the band has already appeared on stage as part of the dance performance VINYAGO at the Humboldt Forum.
