We cordially invite you to the festive closing party of our intergenerational project PaarTanz on 17.01.2025 at CFB! The six-month series brought together artists from Berlin's independent and performative scene with dance-loving senior citizens who created moving dance portraits together.
Each duo, consisting of an artist and an amateur dancer, shares their own story and relationship to dance with the audience through touching choreographies and personal narratives. PaarTanZ placed the amateur dancers in a professional artistic working context that sometimes challenged and always enriched and affirmed them.
As a brilliant conclusion to the project, the three participants will lead the PaarTanZ party at the end of this series. They will think about every detail to create an unforgettable evening: from performative elements to participatory initiatives, from dramaturgy to decoration, music and atmosphere. This final part gives the three exciting personalities the opportunity to share their very personal vision of a joyful gathering where the audience is invited to celebrate and dance.
