Puppet theater by Cie Modo Grosso

How can time be made visible and tangible? Capture it as movement? This is the challenge that Alexis Rouvre sets himself with his "Circus of Objects". He sees himself as a juggler of time and gravity and finds his inspiration in astrophysics. Using knitting, plumbing chains from the DIY store, stone and other seemingly banal materials, he invents a dense scenario that leaves you spellbound and unable to understand who is moving whom or what. Alternating between light and complete darkness, in a poetic and highly individual rhythm, the symbolism of the objects is conveyed through their kinetics, their sound and their lighting. Alexis Rouvre speaks of "looking at the back of the moment, which opens up, contains everything, fades away and yet always preserves everything".

What is the climate impact ticket?

Together with our audience, we at PATHOS theater would like to take responsibility for the climate impact costs of our operations, which are associated with the unavoidable emissions of our theater. The €2 or €6 surcharge on the ticket price goes 100% to the Climate Fair project, which is committed to promoting social and ecological transformation in Germany and here in Munich (e.g. by investing in green electricity systems and energy-saving projects).
