Anonyme Sachlichkeit

In the organizer's words:

The Mannheim artist Rainer Negrelli is hanging this anonymous exhibition without knowing which works were submitted by whom. In the exhibition, works by children and non-professionals can stand alongside works by professional artists - without titles, names or dates. What they all have in common is their own perspective on what is supposedly objectively visible. Is there a correct one? Is the visible even obvious? Visitors are invited to purchase the works at a standard price and take them home with them at the end of the exhibition. They will find out whose work they have chosen after purchasing it.

This event is part of "The 1920s in Mannheim". The exhibition "Anonymous Objectivity" is taking place in preparation for the anniversary year of New Objectivity 2025 and as a supplement to the exhibition "New Objectivity" at the Kunsthalle Mannheim.
