Archivgemurmel. Eine performative Ausstellung / 25 Jahre FFT

In the organizer's words:

25 years of FFT! 25 years of boundary-breaking theater between performance and digitality, between institution and Düsseldorf's urban space, between discourse and artistic practice, between play and seriousness, between curating and collaboration. What documents, what memories are left behind by this living, interwoven place with all its threads that stretch out into the world, fray, re-sew? What could its archive look like?

To mark the anniversary of the FFT, a group of students led by Prof. Dr. Maren Butte set out in search of clues. The starting point for their creative research was formed by stories, objects, performance schedules, performance reviews, books and conversations about productions, technical processes and audience memories. The experimental exhibition Archivgemurmel will be presented at the anniversary celebrations on September 14. It consists of installations, performances, videos and texts that respond to events surrounding the FFT and allow them to resonate: a performative exhibition, a living archive that begins to murmur - about the past and the future of the FFT.
