Art Flash Exhibition im Bunker West

Berlin lives and breathes art: from December 5 to 7, 2024, the city will be one highlight richer with the Art Flash Exhibition: three Berlin artists - Suzy Forel, Justin Fiedler and Kariem Ramadan - combine their unmistakable styles for an exhibition that not only celebrates their art, but also what Berlin stands for: creativity, diversity and urban pulse. The works on display can not only be admired, but also purchased - an opportunity to bring art into your everyday life or find an extraordinary Christmas present.

Three days, three artists, a bunker full of stories

The Art Flash Exhibition turns the Bunker West into a showcase for Berlin creativity. The three-day exhibition is a meeting of stories, perspectives and emotions and unfolds art that moves:

Suzy Forel, who last won over the Berlin public in September 2023 with a solo exhibition on Kurfürstendamm, invites visitors to reflect on how we deal with time with her collages. Time travelers can be seen in each of her works. They steal time from places where it is not appreciated and take it to places where it can be used to do good or prevent misfortune. They distribute time over different epochs and periods of time in an attempt to achieve balance and justice. Newspaper articles, acrylic paints and charcoal merge into haunting compositions that interweave past, present and future.

Justin Fiedler uses expressive acrylic painting on cardboard to create images that stand out for their unique texture and depth. He combines black and white depictions of people with intensely colored, often chaotic backgrounds, which creates an impressive visual tension. This is because the figures in his paintings tell stories and convey emotions that are further enhanced by the abstract backgrounds. The combination of traditional techniques with modern, abstract elements gives his works an unmistakable, fresh character.

Kariem Ramadan, graffiti artist and designer, brings the spirit of the streets of Berlin to the exhibition. His art is inspired by the ups and downs of his own life. It speaks to feelings and thoughts that many people share but are afraid to express openly. With his label "Young Blood", he breathes new life into upcycled fashion and tells stories of freedom, love and loss with hand-painted garments. Canvases and mirrors also serve as his medium. His works are characterized by authenticity, individuality and the desire to connect people through art.

The Art Flash Exhibition is more than just an exhibition. It shows what Berlin is all about: a mixture of courage, creativity and authenticity. Three days full of art, music, emotions and unique Berlin flair.

Thursday, December 5, 2024: Vernissage

Welcome party from 4 p.m. with drinks, snacks and sweets. The highlight will be the auction of a work created jointly by the three artists. The proceeds will go to the Kinderträume association. Friday, December 6, 2024: Art + Piano Sounds

Doors open from 16.00 hrs. Live performance by Aleks Shum on the piano from 7 p.m., fine-line live tattooing with Fari and Toilet Talks performance until 10 p.m. Registration via Luma App

Saturday, December 7, 2024: Finissage

From 4 p.m. again Fine-Line Live-Tattooing with Fari and Toilet Talks Performance. At the end of the Art Flash Exhibition there will be house music by DJ PayPaul - a roaring party that celebrates Berlin, art and people. Registration via Luma App
