Zohra Opoku (*1976, German and Ghanaian; lives and works in Accra, Ghana) is internationally renowned for her work with textile materials and the interweaving of historical and personal themes, particularly in the context of contemporary Ghana. Her work is collected by renowned institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Tate Modern and most recently the Centre Pompidou.
Opoku talks to Julia Grosse of Contemporary And (C&) about her practice, current projects, and her forthcoming C& Artists' Edition.
