Auftakt Festival

In the organizer's words:

Interdisciplinary Literature Festival | Afterwork
Text becomes image becomes sound becomes text again. The auftakt sees itself as a laboratory for collaboration that invites artists and authors to Cologne every year. The text in its various manifestations is at the center and is also the starting point for performative, linguistic-artistic or audio-visual works. With a thematically changing focus and accompanying workshops, the festival develops anew each year and explores the formal boundaries of literary work in a multi-layered way.

This year, auftakt is dedicated to work and its border areas, where work is performed, hidden, shifted or made unnoticed.
