"Alma Miya - my soul! Sephardic songs tell stories of love, loss, joy and longing. Music and lyrics invite you into worlds of life, sound and longing that unfold in the close interweaving of cultures and traditions and are known and loved in many parts of the world.
The members of the ensemble "Barcos de Canela" are characterized by different cultural and musical backgrounds. What they have in common is their enthusiasm for exchange and the fluid boundaries between musical traditions, which they explore by making music together."
