Björn Kuhligk has always lived in Berlin and doesn't want to change anything about it, even though the city often gets on his nerves. He defends himself against the impositions of the dysfunctional, rough and, in the popular sense, ugly city with the book "Berlin-Beschimpfung". But many of his other works, whether poetry, commentary or reportage, also deal with the past and present of the city in a very personal way, not only in a literary way, but also photographically, as in "Schöne Orte" (2019). Elke Schmitter called Kuhligk's view a training in the "appreciation of everyday life". In 2022, he cycled around the old West Berlin, where he grew up, on the Wall Trail. With Björn Kuhligk and Annett Gröschner, two Berlin aficionados will talk about their favorite city.
