OUR PSYCHOLOGICAL VISUAL EXPERIENCE IN THREE COLOGNE MUSEUMS

You've never experienced art like this before! You immerse yourself in a work of art and it becomes your work of art. Each work triggers something, poses questions, gives direction and connects with your personal life story. We begin to understand something about ourselves through the work of art. To do this, we need an hour and a chair. Through your ideas, we understand the core of the work.

BILDERLEBEN is a globally unique form of psychological picture viewing - a new way of art education that anyone can experience without expertise. A mindful hour in a museum, without being overwhelmed by too many pictures. We concentrate on a selected work! In this way, the hidden message of a painting is filtered out through this special moment of calm, in which you forget everything around you.

Public tours (in cooperation with the Museumsdienst Köln) at 4 p.m.: every first Friday of the month at the Museum Ludwig, every second Friday at the Museum Schnütgen, every third Friday at the Wallraf-Richartz Museum.

Individual tours (e.g. for birthdays, team/company events, as a gift, etc.): Just write or call us and we'll arrange a date!

BILDERLEBEN is an initiative founded in 1994 by Dr. Hans-Christian Heiling together with postgraduate psychologists and psychology students at the University of Cologne. Under guidance, the group learns and practices morphological concepts according to Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Salber and art-psychological methods developed by Dr. Hans-Christian Heiling. Since then, BILDERLEBEN has been continuously developed and offers guided psychological viewing sessions for visitors to the Wallraf-Richartz/Fondation Corboud, Ludwig and Schnütgen museums in Cologne.
