Lindemann, R. Kelly and P. Diddy show that the music industry is still a long way from being the egalitarian, glittering paradise it pretends to be.

Even post #MeToo, we continue to struggle with male-dominated structures, gender inequality and opaque power imbalances.

Time for something to finally change! We show that there is another way and organize: ✨The Cheap Gala✨.

Together we will create an evening full of constructive criticism, anger and empowerment, address grievances and undermine prejudices. You can expect an exclusive premiere reading of the book "Billige Plätze. Gender Power and Discrimination in the Music Industry", in which author Rike van Kleef takes a detailed look at the sexist structures in the music industry, as well as a series of special guests and musical highlights. There's no FLINTA for the line-ups of this republic! And maybe there will be some dancing afterwards? Who knows? 😏
