Benefit concert in aid of SZ Gute Werke e.V.

Sir Simon Rattle will once again be conducting the BRSO at this year's SZ Benefit Concert. Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho, a young star of the classical music scene, will also be setting the tone. He is a well-balanced player who does not throw out energy, but rather tames it with virtuosity on the keys. A "perfect match" for Brahms' Second Piano Concerto, in which the composer assigned the soloist a new role: as a control center and source of inspiration, almost always active, he dialogues with the orchestra and drives the action forward.
