Serious music, light music - these categories are long outdated. Many musicians make use of the most diverse genres and work across genres to give their art a voice: Music knows no boundaries. Music for everyone. Whether fans of jazz, new music, electronic music or indie pop, always experimental and exploring boundaries. Several exciting live acts are therefore the focus of this evening.

CARL GARI

CARL GARI is a formation consisting of three people, various machines and instruments. Over the years, the trio has developed an idiosyncratic, psychedelic, raw sound aesthetic that always shines through at their concerts, regardless of whether they are moving in the direction of techno, ambient or downbeat. FALLWANDER

As FALLWANDER, composer Theresa Zaremba and violinist Teresa Allgaier surround themselves with keys, strings, bows, controllers, sticks and pads. FALLWANDER is ambient chamber pop without fixed roles. Both vocals are always just warm enough to keep us from shivering, always just cool enough to keep the air clear and the view wide. FRIENDS OF GAS

At their live concerts,FRIENDS OF GAS offer us no opportunity to escape. As it is written in the great novel of the madness of neoliberalism by Bret Easton Ellis ("American Psycho"), there is also "NO EXIT!" at the end. FRIENDS OF GAS are a hard-hitting confrontation with the present and, in this way, always also great art in the best sense of the word: namely as a critique of the conditions in which man is a humiliated, enslaved, abandoned and despised being. Their merciless music brings us the certainty that there are other people out there who are exposed to the same madness and contradictions as we are every day. People who have not been able to ignore these circumstances for a long time. FRIENDS OF GAS have found a way to lift the whole damn pressure of circumstances as a collective in their dark cellar music between noise and krautrock. A sound between Faust-North and Faust-South, between Captain Beefheart's "Magic Band", Kim Gordon and Lydia Lunch. Between Slint and Unwound. Here GG Allin rides a crazy horse."KEIN WETTER" is the name of the second studio album by this exceptional band, which we of course wish wasn't an exceptional band at all: an alliance of outsiders who go on stage or into the studio together as anti-heroines and suddenly blow everything to smithereens in superheroine style with the help of their music. KIDSØ

KIDSØ are a live electronica duo from Munich founded in 2017. Their clear focus is on live electronic instruments and connecting electronic music with listeners who don't normally listen to electronic music. Since the debut EP "Apart" in 2018 and the first LP in early 2022, KIDSØ has recorded over 130000 monthly listeners on Spotify with a total of almost 10 million streams. KIDSØ has received attention from COMPLEX Networks, EARMILK Magazine and Mr. SuicideSheep, among others. KIDSØ has an international audience with shows all over the world, including MU:CON Seoul, Abstrasension St. Petersburg, Merci Fest Istanbul, Gently Altered Mumbai and many more.
