VOTUM, a parcours of two solo voices, sometimes swinging in unison, sometimes acting as a counterpoint to each other. In between there are manifold variations, which Barbara Schachtner explores with her voice and Roger Hanschel with his saxophone. VOTUM is a mouthpiece for texts and content that rubs up against human conditions and social structures, exploring, observing and contrasting different aspects. Texts and aphorisms by Antonin Artaud and Simone Weil, music by Roger Hanschel.

JOSS TURNBULL will play the second set of the concert. An ingenious percussionist, his personal playing is on a par with the electronic creation of audio waves both from the first set and directly from his own playing. He is an experimental ambassador of a mixture of jazz, world music, improvisation and contemporary music with the means of a multi-faceted and limitless percussion spectrum.
