Chorkonzert im Heizhaus zu Umwelt und Klima

Our choir brings together people who have many opinions and views on the future of our planet. United, this concert will be a powerful call for a harmonious relationship between people, nature and faith. Artistic and spiritual inspiration should lead to concrete actions for a sustainable future.

We see Leipzig and the surrounding area as being particularly sensitized to this issue due to decades of environmental pollution during the GDR era combined with the overexploitation of nature through lignite mining.

We have chosen a former boiler house as the venue for our performance. This unconventional space offers a unique atmosphere and becomes an integral part of the concert experience. The rustic surroundings of the boiler house will reinforce the connection between the energy of the music and the industrial heritage of the space.
