Christian Ehring, known as the presenter of "extra3" and sidekick of Oliver Welke in the "heute-show", presents his new solo: "Stand jetzt".

In a time of polycrisis, "Stand jetzt" is an omnipresent phrase. But what exactly is certain? In a world in which the future is unpredictable and politicians are only engaged in hectic damage limitation, convictions are becoming obsolete faster than weapons can be enumerated. The days of the cozy illusion that everything will somehow continue as before are over. At least that's how it looks now.

Despite war, catastrophe, inflation and double whammy, one question remains: can we still laugh at all? Christian Ehring says: You have to. He confronts his fears, speaks plainly and unmasks the larmoyance of the privileged. Even if he doesn't always come off well himself, humor has the right of way. This applies today more than ever.

"Stand jetzt" is highly topical satire after the turn of the century. No one can say exactly what will happen between now and then, but this much is certain: Ehring will deal with it. Stand jetzt will be funny.
