Christian Lee Hutson's upcoming album "Paradise Pop.10" feels like you've found a collection of short stories hastily scribbled on airplane cocktail napkins. Each story recounts the life of an unsuspecting passenger who was lucky enough to sit next to Christian Lee Hutson on an airplane. Recorded in Brooklyn with Phoebe Bridgers, Marshall Vore and Joseph Lorge, as well as other guests such as Maya Hawke, the album once again shows Hutson as an astute observer, weaving autobiographical fiction with a simplified and sharpened style.

"Paradise Pop.10" is the name of a real-life "town" in the woods of Parke County, Indiana, near Hutson's childhood home. There, behind the town and resident number sign, you'll find a row of 5 houses on one side of the road and a cemetery across the street. A kind of limbo, the inhabitants trapped in the inscrutability of past, present and future.

The whole work is both literary and unpretentious, the texts almost give the listener the impression that Christian is actively rewriting his life story. With his very own melancholy of life, love and his new album, Christian Lee Hutson is now coming to Berlin for an exclusive concert in November this year.
