The band acts acoustically, but musically uses everything that (popular) music has to offer, there is swing next to rock, New Orleans next to free jazz, collective next to solo, strenuous next to light, musical anarchy next to formal strictness ... but above all, the band serves a crucial musical tradition, that of humor.

The SurRealbook consists exclusively of Thewe's own compositions, an original, exciting, spontaneous, improvised experience.
