Cityscape Couture

OPENING CELEBRATION: 28.06.2024 19:00 TILL LATE

The interdisciplinary exhibition "Cityscape Couture" by Julian Larger shows portraits in front of architectural icons of Berlin's urban landscape, such as Berghain or Gropiusstadt, and poses questions about their social rootedness: Who lives where? Who belongs where? Who comes in, who stays out? Who is listened to, who is silenced? This prompts reflection on the places, their community and their inhabitants.

The series is accompanied by a short film and a small-scale installation.
