"Lia, a retired teacher, has made it her mission to find out what happened to her niece Tekla, who disappeared a long time ago.
She learns from Achi, a neighbor, that Tekla may have left her native Georgia and is living in Turkey. Together, the two set off in search of her. Istanbul welcomes them as a beautiful city full of connections and opportunities. Nevertheless, the search for someone who doesn't want to be found is harder than expected. At some point they meet Evrim, a lawyer who fights for trans rights. As the two of them make their way through Istanbul's alleyways and back alleys with her help, Tekla suddenly feels closer than ever before."
