Das Familienalbum (Dernière)

In the organizer's words:

A gentle parable about sexual abuse | Puppet theater play by FUNDUS THEATER | Play: Dörte Kiehn & Gabriele Parnow-Kloth / Tandera Theater

A funny family of mice - mother, father, Pisa and Nießchen and "dear" Uncle Watia - live on a cozy sofa. Then a tomcat turns up. Everyone knows that tomcats are dangerous for mice, including the two siblings. They run away from a tomcat trap. But what if someone they know threatens the mouse children? Someone who usually gives Nießchen presents, but now harasses her until she is trapped?

One play | three teams | 40 years

Each team worked at a different time: Sylvia Deinert and Tine Krieg as play developers initially worked in an atmosphere of total taboo. After the first premiere, they lost all their previous organizer contacts. As a result, they both performed the children's play mainly in front of adults. In retrospect, the phase until the children's audience was reached can be described as socio-political work. In 1995, it became necessary to train a second team for southern Germany. Then, in 2002, the Tandera Theater with Dörte Kiehn and Gaby Parnow-Kloth took over all performances.

On the evening of November 15, 2024, after the performance of the play, the teams will talk about their experiences with the change in public attitudes towards the topic and about encounters with the audience. And then we will celebrate the end of this era together.
