About the workshop:

After the children's police and the children's court, the Schwankhalle, the elementary school on Buntentorsteinweg and the Mädchenkulturhaus invite you to a new theater project: "The children's parliament - making laws yourself"

Who actually makes laws? Who negotiates and discusses them? And how are laws made in the first place? Who has a say and who is absent? What laws should there be in your world?

To find out, we interview politicians in Bremen's parliament, ask people on the street about their wishes and ideas and visit Bremen's parliament, the place where laws are passed. We learn how laws are made and then get to work ourselves: we invent our own laws and discuss them. We write speeches and re-enact famous speeches. We dance and play, dress up and make nonsense. From a collection of all the scenes and speeches and the ideas that are created with you and us and everyone who is there, we develop a play together. Would you like to join in and invent?
