DEIN MUSEUM. Sammlung neu gesehen

In the organizer's words:

With the participatory exhibition project DEIN MUSEUM. Collection revisited, the German Leather Museum is inviting everyone to become active and help shape the exhibition for the first time. From November 5, 2023 to February 11, 2024, visitors to the museum were able to select exhibits, write texts and thus help determine the content of the exhibition, which was designed as a work-in-progress.

The unique collection included an Asian shadow puppet, a medieval minstrel's box, beaded moccasins, Art Deco handicrafts, roller skates from the 1950s and curiosities such as leather postcards and a powder horn made of star rays. These could also be accompanied by memories or anecdotes if they were chosen as a favorite item.
