Delta Konzerte präsentiert: VAN HOLZEN | Sommerbühne 2024

VAN HOLZEN are singer and guitarist Florian Kiesling, bassist Jonas Schramm and drummer Daniel Kotitschke. They have been a band since 2009. Their self-titled debut EP was released in 2016 - directly via Warner Music Germany. This was followed by the album Anomalie in 2017, Regen in 2019 and Aus der Ferne in 2021 - this time self-released - which became the band's most successful album to date.

In their songs, VAN HOLZEN draw sometimes personal, sometimes more abstract sketches of gray life, of how depressing it can be to grow up as a young person in this complicated world. Pessimism and dystopian ideas work together, and Kiesling formulates the solution laconically: "I sleep so that I don't feel life."
