Demokratie kompakt – Gemeinsam Demokratie gestalten!

In the organizer's words:

Whether on social media, in your own family or group of friends, on a vacation trip or in a leadership meeting - we are encountering misanthropic, populist or even right-wing extremist attitudes more and more frequently. They threaten our democracy. The workshop day "Democracy compact - Shaping democracy together" will equip you to live democracy in your youth association, your youth group and your everyday life and to actively stand up for diversity and tolerance. You can learn new things and exchange ideas in two workshop phases. Use the day to network with other young Düsseldorfers - because democracy thrives on community! In between, you can get creative at the button machine or have fun with a game of giant Jenga, for example. At the end of the day, there might even be a little surprise waiting for you in a lottery.

Who can take part in the workshop day?

All young people (aged 15 and over) from Düsseldorf or the surrounding area who want to learn more and stand up for democracy. We are happy to welcome participants from youth associations, youth initiatives and youth movements. You are not (yet) a volunteer? That's not a problem either. Everyone interested in the topic is welcome!
The workshop day is free of charge including catering.
