Rio Reiser was the mouthpiece of an entire generation. As a pioneer of German rock music, he was long ahead of his time. "Junimond", "König von Deutschland" and "Halt dich an deiner Liebe fest" are Reiser's greatest hits and it is impossible to imagine the music world without them.

Denis Fischer brings the songs of the fragile, raw rock poet to the stage. The singer and actor draws equally on his solo career and his time as a singer and composer with the group "Ton Steine Scherben".

Rio Reiser, revered and feared at the same time, was a hunted man in search of love. There are songs that have never been played on the radio to this day. The explosive power of his lyrics, which have lost none of their validity to this day, is too great. "The dream is over... But I will give everything to make it come true". These songs also shine as rediscovered treasures when they see the light of day again from Fischer's mouth.

Denis Fischer has already shown his outstanding talent as an interpreter in the Clingenburg Festival production of "The Rocky Horror Show" in the role of Dr. Frank N. Furter and in his highly acclaimed "Fischer sings Cohen" concerts. In the summer of 2023, he played the role of Rio Reiser at the Burgfestspiele Jagsthausen in the drama musical "König von Deutschland" by Heiner Kondschak.
